Silverstar to offer free car washes one day next week
Silverstar Car Wash will offer free car washes Tuesday as part of a new annual event.
The washes will be given at all six Sioux Falls locations from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. The car wash will be accepting donations for South Dakota Law Enforcement Charities.
Unlimited-pass members will receive a free upgrade to the top wash and free dash wipes. With every free wash, customers can vacuum for free and use free towels.
Sioux Falls chain to open four car washes in metro Sioux City
Silverstar Car Wash, a Sioux Falls-based car wash chain, announced recently it is expanding into the Sioux City market with three locations in Sioux City and one in South Sioux City.
Andrea Vetos, a regional manager with Silverstar, said locations at 1700 Hamilton Blvd., site of a former Applebee’s restaurant, and Floyd Boulevard next to Pizza Ranch, will open in 2020.
Construction is expected to begin next month.
Silverstar buys 10th Street AutaWash
Silverstar Car Wash is expanding to five locations in Sioux Falls with the acquisition of 10th Street AutaWash.
The car wash at 3000 E. 10th St. closed today and will reopen after Silverstar makes changes to the building and adds equipment.
“We want to update a few things that will allow a quicker process for customers, as well as some lower price options,” co-owner Ryan Holte said. “That is where this industry has been going for some time now, and why we have been able to grow. But again, we will be doing everything we can to consider all of those local customers that have been going to 10th Street since 1993.”
Silverstar Car Wash opens fourth location
Silverstar Car Wash has opened its fourth Sioux Falls location with a new facility at 5000 W. 26th St. near Marion Road.
“We love this new neighborhood — being just off the interstate, on so many customers’ way home and around the growing Lake Lorraine area,” co-owner Ryan Holte said. “It’s a real value to our customers to have multiple locations around the community to use our services, especially families driving kids all over town, people that do a lot of work out of their cars, and now we are seeing many businesses use our memberships to keep their company vehicles clean.”
